How are your prices calculated?
Every quote reflects the actual cost of your project — labour, materials, waste removal and, where needed, specialist subcontractors for trades like electrics, heating or roofing. We visit your property first so we can price accurately for your job, rather than working from a generic estimate. You’ll always see a clear breakdown before any work begins.
Are there any hidden costs?
We work hard to keep our quotes accurate and transparent, but older properties can sometimes reveal issues once work is underway -things like damp, outdated wiring, or structural surprises hidden behind walls and floors. If we do find something unexpected, we’ll always talk it through with you before proceeding.
Is the initial consultation free?
Yes – we offer a free, no-obligation first meeting to discuss your project, talk through what you’d like to achieve, and give you an honest steer on scope and cost. There’s no pressure and no charge; it’s simply the best way for us to give you an accurate quote.
Is MJA Property Services insured and registered?
Yes – MJA Property Services Ltd is a registered company, fully insured, giving you peace of mind from the first quote through to completion.
Do you carry out all the work yourselves, or use subcontractors?
Core building work such as brickwork, plastering, tiling, stud walls and fireplace refurbishment is carried out directly by MJA Property Services. For specialist trades such as central heating, electrical upgrades, roofing and driveways, we arrange local, qualified and licensed specialists on your behalf.
